Been buying this and the sprouted multi-grain bread for a while since Josh told me about sprouted bread. Wondering if I should be buying Ezekiel bread.
Ingredients - Organic high protein sprouted wheat berries, filtered water, wheat gluten, barley malt, honey, organic oats, organic sprouted soybeans, sprouted lentils, sea salt, yeast, organic sprouted corn, soy lecithin (an emulsifier), cultured wheat (for added freshness).
I am wondering how this compares to Ezekiel bread?
I have been have tea + toast + marmalade for breakfast for a long time (you can take the Englishman out of England but...). I plan to kick this habit during the challenge. I would like to cut out bread completely but don't know how I am going to deal with lunch yet. Today I am taking a peanut butter and banana sandwich.
Can we get a 'Grocery shopping' category on the board? R

Hi Rupes,
Yes, I got this on the forum now as a new board. Cool and thanks.
Ezekiel is fine. I was told to use Ezekiel by Josh, but I thought all these were similar in make up, no?
Your peanut butter and banana is a fine solution. Almond butter too works. This was my big 'go-to' last time, what you having today for lunch.

Ingredients: Organic Sprouted Wheat, Organic Sprouted Barley, Organic Sprouted Millet, Organic Malted Barley, Organic Sprouted Lentils, Organic Sprouted Soybeans, Organic Sprouted Spelt, Filtered Water, Fresh Yeast, Organic Wheat Gluten, Sea Salt.
So the Ezekiel does not have honey or soy lecithin

Does mestemacher bread fall in the same green light category as sprouted bread? Ingredients are: whole kernel rye, water, whole meal rye flour, sunflower seed, salt, oat fiber, yeast.

Hi,
I got an answer for you. Sprouted bread is more nutrient dense, because of the sprouts themselves. While Meschemaster has more whole ingredients and minimal ingredients, I would not put the two in the same category based on the nutrient content.
Don't introduce it now.
Meschemaster may be a great item to introduce when the 9 weeks are over although, I'd love to see the desire for bread (premade/packaged) disappear all together.
