I have been using this for a while in place of butter for my toast and marmalade I won't be having marmalade during the challenge but I have fruit spread from Trader Joe's... Ingredients: Natural oil blend (palm fruit, canola, soy bean, flax and olive oils), filtered water, contains less than 2% of pure salt, natural flavor (plant derived from corn, no msg, no alcohol, no gluten), pea protein, sunflower lecithin, lactic acid, (non-diary), and naturally extracted annatto for color. Clearly this cannot be considered clean eating but I am wondering how bad it is? The only things that look iffy are soy bean oil and plant derived from corn.

Hi Rupert!
This product is essentially a margarine and highly processed. It is a dairy-free alternative yes, but it isn't food.
I would recommend straight, organic, unrefined coconut oil instead. If you are not dairy free, then use regular unsalted butter.
We should be eating real food.
