BRUISED FINGER

Hi,



this morning I trapped the top of my thumb in the car door and it had been painful all day. Still throbbing and is turning black under the nail. Apart from an ice pack after I did it and paracetamol is there anything I can do? My mum said about putting a hole in the nail to release the pressure, is this something I need to go to the doctors for?
